Field trips are opportunities for experiential learning where the learners can acquire the concepts through all their 5 modalities. The students at SRVIS are taken to visit various locations and interact with numerous people to research deeper and collect relevant information.
SRVIS welcomes experts from the community to be a part of the learners learning engagements. Professionals from various walks of life and from an array of careers are invited to share crucial, relevant and cutting edge information that helps its audience to make deeper connections and link it further to the real world applications.
“True leaders don’t create followers they create leaders”. SRVIS a leader in the field of education builds and nurtures the leaders of tomorrow by electing or choosing potential leaders who along with the other students strive to fulfil our Vision and Mission.
In SRVIS their students are divides into 3 houses. Griffins, Pegasus and Hippocampus. The sports day sets the field for champions from various teams and across all grades to battle head to head in order to win the title of winner and bag the gorgeous “Natesan Trophy”.
An event held to cherish and congratulate the learners of Prep 2 as they move ahead from Early years to Grade 1 and the learners of Grade 5 as they graduate from the PYP program.
IB strongly believes that giving back to the community and making and impact in the lives of others is the mindful action a leaner can exhibit as a result of his/her learning. SRVIS gives scope for our young learners to extend their hand to the community around them and make a difference, a random act of kindness which will enrich the life of others around them.
Celebrations are an integral part of our life. It is on these days we connect deeply to our roots and our origins. At SRVIS Celebrations are not just day of fun and frolic but day of learning as well.
Students celebrate events from Diwali, Pongal, Christmas, Bastille Day, Halloween Day, Rakshabandhan, Onam, Christmas, etc., thus understanding the importance of the festivity and the culture linked to it locally and globally.
