In today’s technology-driven world, it’s important now more than ever to prepare students for the future. Teaching robotics to young students throughout the schooling can increase their ability to be creative and innovative thinkers and more productive members of society. Students learning robotics are able to channel their frustration into trying harder and aiming higher thus inculcating the virtues of perseverance and determination that our school aims to develop.
Learning to read and write are important to children but learning music and dance can be helpful as well. Music helps to develop brain areas involved in language and reasoning and Dance enchanted their creativity and imagination, ability to critically analyse their own work and the work of others, thus helping them become self-aware and reflective citizens. At SRVIS we provide the choice of learning western and classical dance along with getting trained in numerous musical instruments like guitar, keyboard and drums.
Looking at the personal, social and physical development of the child, sports certainly play a major role. It helps establish peer status and peer acceptance. In addition, it helps to deal with juvenile delinquency, conflicts and aggression outburst.At SRVIS students learn *Skating *Cricket *Badminton *Basketball *Archery *Table Tennis *Athletics
Providing education of international standard and understanding the global need, communication becomes plays a vital role, hence, here students have an extra edge of learning French right from Grade 1.
The library provides a range of book choice to develop love for reading. There are ample of resource books that involves students in inquiring and finding information. It also provides an opportunity to read or listen to the audio-visual books.
To empower teaching and learning process we have an excellent ICT lab. ICT is just not the bloom of the educational activities; it will be the secondary option to improve the effective and meaningful educational process. Thus, our students will have opportunity to go along the current requirement of the world.
